Yassin's Poems

Many people are surprised
When they ask me
Of my lonely life.
How do I spend my time?
How do I keep my mind?

Dear friends!
I am never alone.
I live with my beloved poems.
They are my solace,
The source of my love and joy.

They warm me in the winter,
During the cold windy night,
When darkness covers the world.

When in the castle and the palace
You look in vain for any light,
Look then at my lonely nest,
You will find the full moon bright.

My heart is a poem,
Giving out shining light,
For everyone to find their way,
Through the night.
