Yassin's Poems

LAUGH

When a child is first born,
He senses life will not be fun,
He moves his feet, shakes his tiny fists,
Shouts at the top of his lungs -
I am scared! I don’t like this!

But soon after,
He is nursing at his mother’s breast,
And those around him smile.
He realizes he is not alone.
He can smile and even laugh
At this drama called Life.
